Services

Technical advice and consultancies are co-ordinated, reviewed and compiled by the Technical Advisory Services Programme (TAS).  This programme undertakes two broad types of work: non-billable technical advice to other state agencies and major stakeholders as well as billable consultancy activities which include the following:

Environmental Consultancy Services

TAS provides consultancy services to government agencies and private enterprises with technical input from IMA staff and/or external associate consultants in the following areas:

1. Marine Ecology
2. Wetlands Ecology
3. Aquaculture -Technical and Advisory
4. Environmental Impact Assessment

Analytical Services

The department offers analytical services based on the availability of staff at the Institute and/or external assistance.  The laboratories in the Marine Chemistry Department and Geology facilitate work in these areas.

Sale of Raw Data

This data is generated from the past research and monitoring activities of the Institute’s four research programmes.
