Shubh Divali!

Celebrated and embraced fully by citizens across Trinidad and Tobago, Divali is the Hindu Festival of Lights which celebrates the victory of good over evil and light over darkness.

May each lighted deya empower us to dispel ignorance, intolerance, hostility and despair with the knowledge that good always triumphs over evil. And, as our beloved country continues to grapple with the deleterious effects of the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, may this Festival of Lights offer us hope over gloom that as a nation we will emerge from this pandemic.

On behalf of the Board of Governors and Management, I extend warm Divali greetings to all of you on the joyous occasion of Divali. May the festival of lights illuminate your life with knowledge, forgiveness and kindness.
