What Do We Do
The Fisheries and Aquaculture Research Programme (F&ARP) comprises two principal thematic areas. The Fisheries programme focuses on age and growth studies, and reproductive biology while the Aquaculture programme comprised marine and freshwater recirculating systems, aimed at promoting alternative fish supplies through culture technology. The Programme also supports research in marine turtle conservation, and responds to environmental incidences such as mammal stranding and reported fish kills.
